This is an in-person class. There will not be a virtual component.

The class is limited to (25) twenty-five students. The tuition cost is $400.00 per person.

Fully completed applications, including checks payable to “CCMA Committee”, must be received by, on or before, September 4, 2025.

If a municipal check cannot be processed in time, a personal check can be held with proof of an approved purchase order until a municipal check is received.

CCMA Course 1A – Assessment Administration

This course is intended for new assessors, assessor clerks or technicians, new staff members and any others interested in earning the CCMA designation. This is an appropriate course for first-time attendees to CCMA courses.

Content: Role of the Assessor in Government, Assessor’s Admin Responsibilities, The Assessment Process and Tools, Land Titles and Deeds, Common Interest Ownership, Property Exemptions, Tax Relief Programs and Board of Assessment Appeal.
