CAAO Research/Historian Committee Releases 6th Publication
The CAAO Research / Historian Committee has released it’s 6th publication on the History of Connecticut Assessors. Since June of 2008 when the first volume came out, the Committee has released Volume #2 in June 2011, Volume #3 June 2014, Volume #4 June 2017 and Volume #5 January 2022. The Committee has interviewed 95 Connecticut Assessors, and has written some 797 pages about the history of Connecticut assessors. The passage, “Retention of current events will prevent the loss of history for future generations”, is on all of the publication. It’s what it is all about, retention of history of our organization.
The Committee has produced other historical publication that includes: Abstract of the Single Assessors in Connecticut that gives a history of assessor appointments in each of the 169 towns, Historical Questions, Answers, History of The Fall Symposium and the CAAO 80th Anniversary 1935 to 2015 publication.
The Committee has also secured a number of documents that reflects the history of our organization.
