CCMA Courses and CAAO Workshop Registration
The 2025 Assessors School offers six courses approved by the CCMA Committee. The school serves to provide an educational program for those interested in the Certified Connecticut Municipal Assessor (CCMA) designation.
It also provides CAAO workshops throughout the week at The Dodd Center for Human Rights. The workshops cover appraisal/assessment theory, statutory review and assessment related topics and are open to all Connecticut assessors, members of boards of assessment appeals and other residents.

CCMA Course Registration
CCMA Courses can be found on the “Sessions“ tab. Associated fees can be found on the “Fees“ tab. Please note, breakfast, lunch and parking (if applicable) is included in your registration fee. Tabs are located at the top of the registration page. Click the “Register“ button to begin. Once completed, you can return to your registration at any time to make edits, substitutions, or cancel by utilizing the confirmation number shown in your confirmation email.

Special Events:
For a list of the special events, please click on the tab “Special events.” Please note, the Welcome Reception is included free of charge for students, however registration is required through the CCMA registration site. All other events are listed on the CAAO Workshop Registration Website.
Hotel Accommodations
Hotel accommodations are available this year at the Graduate by Hilton Storrs (the UConn campus hotel) and the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Manchester (about 35 minutes away). Click on the “Overnight Accommodations” tab for hotel rates and a link to make a reservation. The group code is CAAO2025. Dorm rooms are not available this year due to construction on campus.
CAAO Workshops
Payment for registration must be received by May 23, 2025 or the individual cannot attend.
CAAO Advanced Workshops and Special Events descriptions can be found on their designated tab at the top of the site. Associated fees can be found on the “Fees” tab.
Once completed, you can return to your registration at any time to make edits, substitutions, or cancel by utilizing the confirmation number shown in your confirmation email.

Credit Hours:
Anyone arriving after 9:00 AM to a morning workshop or 1:30 PM to an afternoon workshop will not receive credit hours. No exceptions. Monday – Friday morning and afternoon sessions: 3.0 hours of credit each. A full week is worth 27 credits. There are no half day registrations.
