CCMA Committee Appointments

The Office of Policy and Management (OPM) is seeking interested parties for appointment to the Certified Connecticut Municipal Assessor Committee (CCMA).

Appointed by the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management, in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes Section 12-40a, committee members each serve a six-year term.  Two positions will be appointed for the term November 20, 2020 to November 19, 2026. One position must be from a municipality with a population under five thousand.

OPM is seeking those interested in serving on the committee and assisting with developing and maintaining the programs and procedures for the training, examination and certification of assessment personnel.   Candidates shall be certified pursuant to CGS Section 12-40a(b) and shall have demonstrated competence in Connecticut assessment practices.

Interested candidates should forward a letter expressing their interest, experience with training and reason they wish to serve, along with a resume by 12:00 PM on September 8, 2020 to Martin L. Heft, Acting Undersecretary at Martin.Heft@ct.gov.
